Cirrus G3 Vision Jet
G3 Vision Jet suits owner-oriented regional travel with a single engine and flexible seating. Its lower speed can be a reasonable personal-aircraft tradeoff. Verify adult seating, baggage and fuel together.

A private jet gives you control over departure, cabin and company. Choose it around your usual missions, passengers and luggage. This guide compares whole-aircraft private ownership across seven classes, with a global model selection and U.S. operating perspective.
Research checked: 2026-10-17. Purchase bands are user-supplied guideposts, not manufacturer price lists. Prices and availability change. All numerical operating budgets have the partial scope explained below; they are not binding quotations.

M means million USD. Older large jets can cost less than newer small ones. Class follows cabin and mission, not price alone. This is a selected comparison, not a complete worldwide catalog.

Baseline planning: 400 airborne hours, two hours per flight, 200 sectors; alternatives: 200/600 hours and 100/300 sectors. Positioning belongs inside H. Airborne hours exclude taxi time; ground fuel and costs still need coverage.
Annual operating budget = F + H × V. F is fixed annual expense; H is flight hours; V includes variable and allocated sector costs. Equivalent: F + H × Vh + (H / 2) × C. Never add both expressions.
Intended operation: an enclosed hangar in the southeastern United States, two professional pilots per class, plus cabin staff and relief coverage for ULR/VIP. These are planning choices, not universal certification requirements or verified staffing prices.
Source limitation: Liberty Jet worksheets do not disclose airframe age, base, crew headcount/benefits, sector length, airborne-versus-block definition or complete APU coverage. Consequently, every sum is a partial-scope published-component budget, not verified all-in ownership cost. The reference years illustrate age; source rates are model-level.
All worksheets displayed Jet-A at $7.23/US gal on 2026-10-17, described as a weekly U.S. average. Underlying observation date, taxes and into-plane fees are unspecified. This is not a local FBO quote. One US gal = 3.785411784 liters; implied burn = fuel expense / 400 / 7.23.
We sum displayed whole-dollar components and derive V from the 400-hour variable subtotal. Rounding may differ slightly from source totals. The same F and V produce all three sensitivities; real staffing, maintenance cycles and contractual minima may change.
Combined crew-travel/landing/handling expense divided by 200 gives an equivalent sector allowance, not an airport tariff. It remains inside V. No additional long-haul budget is invented without comparable ground-fuel, cycle and relief-crew evidence.
Price on request means no defensible public USD quote for that exact variant was established. Guardian Jet screens are broker asking indications, potentially mixing equipment and variants, not confirmed transactions. A new aircraft needs a dated factory proposal; a share or delivery slot is not a delivered whole aircraft.
Cabin lengths use different definitions, sometimes including galley/lavatory space. Maximum width/height is not clearance throughout. Practical seating is an editorial comfort layout, not certified capacity. Unextracted measurements are identified instead of borrowed from related variants.
Range depends on stated occupants, cruise and reserves. It cannot simultaneously guarantee maximum seats, baggage and speed. Wind, temperature, runway, routing and completion weight matter. Manufacturer assumptions override generic broker comparisons; mission examples are not dispatch guarantees.
Classification follows manufacturer positioning and broker comparisons, with explicit boundary decisions for M2, PC-24, Learjet 75 and Falcon 2000LXS. G600 follows the broker’s ULR class. Each variant is assigned once; cost references are not duplicated.
User-supplied indicative purchase range (USD): $1M–$7M
Compact cabins and modest fuel demand favor small-party regional travel. Luxury here means control and privacy within limited space. Several types permit single-pilot operation, subject to qualifications, insurance and operational requirements.
The $1M–$7M band mixes used aircraft and new entry-level propositions. Exact new quotes were not established. M2 is placed here as an entry-level jet despite alternative light-jet classifications. The older Phenom 100 supplies the cost reference.
Many twins have four main club seats, limited headroom and compact refreshments. Honda documents an enclosed lavatory and 62 cu ft baggage, subject to loading limits. Cirrus lacks a conventional enclosed lavatory. Images use a compact Phenom-scale concept.

G3 Vision Jet suits owner-oriented regional travel with a single engine and flexible seating. Its lower speed can be a reasonable personal-aircraft tradeoff. Verify adult seating, baggage and fuel together.
Elite II combines over-wing engines, club seating and an enclosed lavatory. Honda lists 1 crew + 6 passengers or 2 crew + 5. The cabin remains seated-height; its length definition differs from passenger-only broker measurements.
Phenom 100EX updates the entry-level twinjet cabin and avionics. Its 1,178 nm brochure case uses four occupants. Regional buyers must specify baggage/lavatory arrangements; an older Phenom budget does not price this variant.
M2 Gen2 provides a Garmin-equipped entry-level cabin with a four-seat club core. The website now promotes Gen3, whose reviewed flight-test release targets 2027 service entry. A future Gen3 slot is distinct from an in-service Gen2.
The original Phenom 100 supplies the VLJ cost example, with a hypothetical 2010 planning age. Source costs are not year-specific. Review engine enrollment, upcoming inspections and records before interpreting a low purchase ask.

Implied consumption at the common fuel input (US gal/h): 125.00; V = $1,555.02/h.
Maintenance plus engine reserve is the narrower technical allowance. Reserves are not necessarily spent this year. APU coverage and an independent repair buffer are unresolved; APU is not applicable to Phenom 100/CJ3. Heavy-check years can exceed average allowances.
User-supplied indicative purchase range (USD): $3M–$14M
More cabin length and range suit small teams and longer domestic sectors. Most cabins remain seated-height. PC-24 adds cargo flexibility; Learjet 75 illustrates the boundary between light and midsize classifications.
The $3M–$14M band is not a cap. Avpro advertised a 2021 six-seat PC-24, serial 242, for $11.350M; its separate broker market screen reached $15.000M. The Learjet 75 screen begins slightly below the band.
Six to eight business seats, folding tables, an aft lavatory and refreshments are useful comparison points. PC-24 has a larger section than CJ types. Check the airframe year: interiors and range offerings evolved. No stand-up widebody comfort is implied.

Original CJ3 offers six-seat comfort and useful regional range in a narrow cabin. The screen covers 2005–2013 aircraft. Later CJ3 Gen2 and developing Gen3 variants require separate pricing and maintenance review.
CJ4/Gen2 extend light-jet mission capability with seated-height cabins. The screen mixes delivered variants. September 2026 manufacturer evidence still describes CJ4 Gen3 certification work; displayed performance does not establish a delivered Gen3.
Phenom 300E emphasizes speed and domestic reach; its brochure uses five occupants for 2,010 nm. The certified 300EV has a separate announced 2028 delivery schedule. Do not transfer its range or features to an existing 300E.
PC-24 combines a spacious section with a large cargo door. Avpro classifies its six-seat 2021 example as light. Airport and surface access still require the aircraft approvals, performance calculation and operator procedures.
Learjet 75 offers eight seats and speed in a long, low cabin. Avpro calls it light; Guardian Jet says midsize. We classify it once as light. Production ended; support and upcoming inspections matter.
Future variants need independent status checks. Gen3 websites can precede deliveries; 300EV certification differs from its delivery schedule. The developing G300 is not the historic G300 or a verified delivered aircraft here.

User-supplied indicative purchase range (USD): $5M–$22M
Midsize jets emphasize longer domestic missions and better cabin comfort. Some have flat floors and centerline standing height; others retain a dropped aisle. Older acquisition bargains require scrutiny of calendar inspections and engine support.
The $5M–$22M band overlaps real markets: Latitude screens reach $22.995M; Hawker 900XP and Learjet 60XR can fall below $5M. Praetor 500E certification is confirmed, but the reviewed September release schedules its first fleet delivery for Q4 2026.
Latitude offers 6 ft centerline height; its listed broker length measures passenger space. Hawker pairs club seating with a divan and compact galley. For every type, verify baggage doors, weight limits, access and the actual toilet/galley layout.

Latitude emphasizes centerline standing height and a flat floor. Evaluate a seven-to-nine-seat layout with real baggage. Broker passenger-cabin length differs from full-cabin measurements; its reach is shorter than Longitude’s.
Certified Praetor 500E adds a redesigned cabin and management system to fly-by-wire midsize travel. Range uses four passengers. Actual customer delivery by the research date was not confirmed; certification does not guarantee immediate availability.
Hawker 900XP provides an eight-passenger club/divan cabin and compact galley. It is pre-owned only. The 2010 planning age does not describe every airframe’s condition; engine status, calendar inspections and support dominate due diligence.
Learjet 60XR offers a taller section than Learjet 75 and a compact seven-seat layout. This is an older used-aircraft purchase. Check runway/payload performance and the cost of desired avionics and cabin upgrades.

Implied consumption at the common fuel input (US gal/h): 257.00; V = $3,130.24/h.
Maintenance plus engine reserve is the narrower technical allowance. Reserves are not necessarily spent this year. APU coverage and an independent repair buffer are unresolved; APU is not applicable to Phenom 100/CJ3. Heavy-check years can exceed average allowances.
User-supplied indicative purchase range (USD): $10M–$32M
Standing-height sections, useful galleys and separate cabin functions bridge domestic comfort and transcontinental capability. Compare width, payload-range, baggage access and crew provisions alongside the headline purchase price.
The $10M–$32M band includes used Challenger 350 and G280 examples; Longitude screens reach $32.995M. Challenger 3500 is a distinct evolution. Embraer announced the first Praetor 600E fleet delivery on 2026-09-18; its exact price requires a proposal.
The Challenger pair is wider than Longitude; Praetor emphasizes fly-by-wire and range. A divan is not a separate bedroom or approved takeoff sleeping position. The illustrated two-zone concept follows Challenger 350 scale and does not imply a shower.

Longitude combines transcontinental reach with a long standing-height cabin, narrower than Challenger 350’s. Range and fast cruise describe separate cases. The screen’s upper end exceeds the supplied $32M guide ceiling.
Praetor 600E adds a redesigned cabin and long-sector capability; its first fleet delivery was announced in September 2026. The 4,018 nm case uses four passengers. Older Praetor 600 asks do not price a new 600E.
Challenger 350 offers a broad eight-to-nine-seat cabin. The used screen covers 2015–2021 aircraft; the cost example uses a 2017 planning age. Check engine coverage and calendar inspections. Images use its scale, not an advertised aircraft.
Challenger 3500 has revised seats and cabin features and entered service in 2022. The reviewed screen showed $28.000M for 2023–2026 inventory. Its support proposal must not be replaced by an older 350 allowance.
G280 offers an eight-to-ten-seat layout and 3,600 nm comparison case. Avpro’s 2014 example was price on request. The developing G300 successor is a separate program; confirm G280 production availability and future G300 delivery independently.

User-supplied indicative purchase range (USD): $12M–$60M
Large cabins favor group comfort, dining and separate activities on long journeys. Ranges vary substantially. A broad Challenger or Falcon may suit your mission better than paying for the farthest possible nonstop flight.
The $12M–$60M band spans used aircraft and new proposals. Falcon 2000LXS is assigned here for its large-body cabin despite some super-midsize classifications. Falcon 900LX adds a third engine. G500 means the modern model, not its historic namesake.
Dassault lists 2000LXS width/height at 7 ft 8 in/6 ft 2 in and baggage at 130.6 cu ft; 6X offers 8 ft 6 in/6 ft 6 in and 155 cu ft. Galley, toilet and lounge arrangements remain completion-specific.

Challenger 650 prioritizes cabin width and ten-to-twelve-seat group comfort. The used screen and 2017 cost planning age describe different evidence. Full cabin staffing, connectivity and APU support require individual scope beyond the worksheet.
Falcon 2000LXS combines a wide two-engine cabin with 4,000 nm at eight passengers and NBAA IFR reserves. We assign it to Large Cabin despite alternate classifications. Actual runway suitability still needs dispatch calculations.
Three-engine Falcon 900LX offers three-zone flexibility. The broker’s 4,800 nm comparison basis can differ from manufacturer definitions. Avpro’s 2015 example was price on request, separate from the numerical market screen.
Delivered Falcon 6X emphasizes a broad three-area cabin and 5,500 nm at eight passengers. Width alone does not define bed count, galley or shower equipment. These depend on the selected completion.
Modern G500 combines three cabin areas with 5,300 nm comparison range. Its screen covers 2018–2023 aircraft. Distinguish the historic namesake and balance passenger layout, support and mission needs against longer-range alternatives.

User-supplied indicative purchase range (USD): $25M–$90M+
ULR jets support long working days and overnight travel. Evaluate range with your real passengers, baggage, crew rest and cruise speed, together with the departure runway and required reserves.
The open-ended $25M–$90M+ band accommodates broker asking indications of $93.000M for a 2024 G700, $93.995M for a 2026 G800 and up to $94.000M for Global 7500. These are not factory prices or transactions.
Multi-area cabins separate work, meals and rest; Global 7500 offers four zones. Falcon 8X allows different crew-rest and optional-shower arrangements. Sleeping and seated capacities differ. Staffing, connectivity and a suitable hangar remain major ownership considerations.

G600 adds cabin length and a 6,600 nm comparison case. We follow Guardian Jet’s ULR classification; Gulfstream confirmed its 200th delivery in March 2026. Specify crew rest and cabin service for intercontinental use.
G650 is the cost reference; G650ER extends range from 7,000 to 7,500 nm. The $37.000M–$64.000M screen applies only to G650 inventory. Verify ER conversion/delivery records and program transfers; the variants are not duplicate budgets.
G700’s long multi-area cabin separates work and rest. The 2024 broker ask of $93.000M exceeds $90M, consistent with the plus sign. Its 7,750 nm case does not promise simultaneous maximum seating and baggage.
G800 entered service in August 2025, with 8,200 nm at Mach 0.85 and a shorter cabin than G700. An implausible broker database 690 kt entry is excluded; the article uses the documented Mach cruise case.
Global 6500 provides three cabin areas and a 6,600 nm comparison case. The 2022–2024 screen is a used-market indication, not factory pricing. Evaluate service access, cabin arrangement and real operating payload.
Global 7500 separates work, meals and rest across four zones. The 7,700 nm reference has specific mission assumptions. Asking indications reach $94.000M. Crew coverage, fuel, internet and a suitable hangar remain substantial commitments.
Global 8000 targets increased range in a four-zone platform. Broker data reports production; the accessible manufacturer document still describes development. Current certification/delivery evidence was not reconciled, so availability remains explicitly unconfirmed here.
Three-engine Falcon 8X publishes 6,450 nm at eight passengers. Its three-lounge plans trade space among seating, crew rest and an optional shower. Maximum width is 7 ft 8 in; baggage volume is 140 cu ft.
Falcon 10X has a broad cabin and 7,500 nm development target. Its maiden flight occurred on 2026-06-19. Flight testing is not certification or delivery; no completed-aircraft market price is assigned.

Maintenance plus engine reserve is the narrower technical allowance. Reserves are not necessarily spent this year. APU coverage and an independent repair buffer are unresolved; APU is not applicable to Phenom 100/CJ3. Heavy-check years can exceed average allowances.
User-supplied indicative purchase range (USD): $80M–$300M+
Airliner-derived VIP jets exchange a larger footprint for custom lounges, dining and suites. BBJ and ACJ are families with different platforms. This comparison concentrates on narrowbody examples; widebody projects can exceed the editorial band considerably.
The $80M–$300M+ band broadly frames new projects. The 1998–2018 BBJ broker screen was $24.500M–$69.000M, below $80M. Green-aircraft and completed prices differ: identify design, equipment, installation, tanks, approvals and delivery scope before comparing.
BBJ and ACJ cabin images are not interchangeable technical evidence. Airbus lists ACJ320neo width/height at 3.70/2.25 m; TwoTwenty is a separate A220-derived six-area concept. These AI images depict only one fictional 737-based narrowbody completion.

Original 737-700 BBJ supplies the VIP cost example, with a 2005 planning age. Custom completion defines seating and suites. Compare tanks, approvals, heavy checks and records; older aircraft can cost far less than a new project.
BBJ 737-8 uses a 6,465 nm eight-passenger specification. Separate green price from completed VIP price. The base 737-7 was FAA-certified in August 2026; that alone does not establish a completed BBJ 737-7 delivery.
ACJ319neo pairs narrowbody cabin space with a published 6,750 nm eight-passenger mission. Completion weight and tanks matter. A 19-seat layout is not the same configuration as the eight-passenger range case.
ACJ320neo offers greater cabin length. The current page uses eight passengers for 6,000 nm; earlier Airbus material used 25. We flag that difference and convert its 27.74 m length consistently, correcting the page’s inconsistent feet label.
A220-derived ACJ TwoTwenty offers six cabin areas and 5,650 nm maximum range. Finished dimensions depend on linings and layout; page figures are rounded. Verify seating/sleeping approvals for the individual aircraft, not an image.

Maintenance plus engine reserve is the narrower technical allowance. Reserves are not necessarily spent this year. APU coverage and an independent repair buffer are unresolved; APU is not applicable to Phenom 100/CJ3. Heavy-check years can exceed average allowances.
Scope comes before the number. Replace public allowances with aircraft-specific proposals. The following explains what owners pay; combined source items are retained instead of inventing precise subdivisions.
Crew and training include loaded compensation, benefits, recurrent simulator events and qualification travel. Flight hours alone do not establish duty coverage. ULR/VIP need cabin and relief staffing. Initial training belongs to entry-to-service costs.
Hangars need suitable door, wing/tail clearance and local availability. A BBJ is not a small parking bay. Insurance depends on value, territory, limits and pilot qualifications; seek individual offers, not an arbitrary purchase-price percentage.
Specify whether management includes dispatch, planning, records, technical oversight, accounting, navigation databases and internet. Compare service lists before fees. Do not separately charge staff or subscriptions already included.
Maintenance follows calendar, hours and cycles. Engine programs may quote per engine or aircraft and exclude APU. Check enrollment, transfer rights and uncovered parts. A program and reserve covering the same event must not both be added in full.
Price the whole mission’s fuel and actual uplift locations, including ground/APU use. Airport, navigation, handling and international fees vary by sector. Hotels, catering, cleaning and deicing need explicit itinerary/weather assumptions; U.S. domestic charges do not describe international operations.
A reserve funds uncertainty, not a guaranteed yearly invoice. Do not add a full reserve and the full same overhaul twice. Price a major-check year separately from its actual scope; no universal heavy-check amount is established.
Fixed components remain unchanged; included variable costs scale linearly. Average cost falls as fixed expenses spread across hours. This does not prove that 600-hour operations retain the same staffing, maintenance or contractual minima.

A new proposal should specify equipment, escalation, delivery, warranty and acceptance. Certification can precede availability. VIP completion, imports, connectivity and initial setup may remain outside the airframe invoice.
For used aircraft, inspect year, hours, cycles, maintenance records, damage history, engine/APU programs, upcoming checks, avionics, cabin and title. A low ask can conceal near-term obligations. Independent pre-purchase and records reviews are essential comparisons.
Separate one-time inspection, title review, registration, delivery, initial training and upgrades. No generic tax rate or exemption is assumed. Interest, principal, market-value changes and capital opportunity cost are outside operating tables. Accounting depreciation is not cash maintenance; avoid double-counting interest and capital cost.
Whole ownership offers control with fixed costs and resale exposure. Charter buys missions under an operator’s terms; a charter rate, jet-card deposit or membership does not buy the aircraft.
Fractional ownership buys a share and contracted access; leasing creates separate obligations. Compare actual proposals with your routes and flexibility needs. No universal break-even hours or hypothetical charter income reduce these private-owner budgets.
No. Acquisition, recurring operation, reserves, tax, finance and resale changes are separate. Tables include only stated public components.
